1. When and where will this event happen?

GEOMATE 2026 will be held from 17 to 20 November 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand as a hybrid event (virtual and face-to-face presentations)

 

2. What does the registration fee include?

The conference registration fee includes admission to all keynote and parallel sessions, poster viewing, tea/coffee and lunches, conference kits, a Certificate of Acknowledgement (for authors/ presenters)/ Certificate of Participation (for other participants), and a field visit. Conference kits consisting of certificates, conference program, name badges, and proceedings will also be delivered digitally to all the participants.

 

3. Do I receive a confirmation email after I finish my registration?

Yes, a confirmation email will be sent to you when you complete your registration.

4. If I am not able to attend the conference, can I share my slot with the other?

The registration can be transferred to the other so that he/she can participate the conference. Any changes should be informed to the organizing committee via email: geomate@sut.ac.th.

 

5. If some unexpected situations happen from the side of the conference, is the registration fee refunded?

If force majeure clauses like a war, crime, an earthquake or the others that prevent us organizing the conference, the organizing committee holds the right to cancel the conference and the fee is not refunded.

 

6. If I want to publish my paper indexed by Scopus, WoS/Clarivate, EI, or Compendex, how can I proceed the procedure?

The chosen papers will be printed in the conference proceedings in a PDF format and under ISSN issued by the International Journal of GEOMATE, and will be sent to indexing services such as Scopus, WoS/Clarivate, EI, and Compendex.

All papers are reviewed by two peers and the awards will be given to highly commended ones. The papers recommended by conference reviewers will be published with a nominal fee provided that they are carefully revised, rewritten and reformatted according to reviewers’ comments and journal templates.

 

7. If the participant is a co-author and student at the university, how can he/she register to attend the conference?

Participant as a student needs to send a proof of student ID card to the email: geomate@sut.ac.th after finishing registering on the website.
